Schedule: 40hrs, Day Shift
GENERAL SUMMARY:
+ The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech I works as a member of the Cardiovascular Lab (CCL) team of medical professionals. Under the direct supervision, is responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing Scrub or Monitor functions.
+ Responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment and supplies in the CCL.
+ Responsible for patient safety in the CCL and must be able to recognize cardiac arrhythmias and respond according to emergency protocols, operate external cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g. Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, ...
