JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Redding, California Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Thu, 8a-5p Fri, 8a-12p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 20 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff Available: MA, Clinic Supervisor, RN JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Cardiology (BC) Licenses: Active CA license required Fellowship in Cardiology from US/Canadian accredited program NPDB report dated within 30 days Duties & Responsibilities Provide full scope outpatient general cardiology consultations and follow-ups Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day Collaborate with support staff including MA, Clinic Supervisor, and RN Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation Adhere to foundation privileges and credentialing requirements
