UofL Health, an academic health system in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a seasoned Physician Assistant to join our growing team in Cardiovascular Surgery. The Physician Assistant will assist the surgeon during thoracic or cardiovascular procedures by performing duties such as tissue retraction, insertion of tubes and intravenous lines, or closure of surgical wounds. The ideal candidate will be skilled in endoscopic vein harvesting. Additionally, the provider will perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate quality patient care.The appropriate candidate should demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and take responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation.To be considered for a base salary starting at $175,000 annually, you must be a ...
