Job Description
Organization and Management
- Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
- Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
- Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
- Daily routine: Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families; prepare and tidy beds, reclining chairs before arrival of patients and linens, and as needed; provide drinks for patients, collect cups and meal trays after use; keep patients comfortable and cheerful by giving blankets if cold, positioning them, and switching on TV or radio; keep the unit area, store, fridge and its facilities clean and tidy; disinfect beds and equipment, dialysis machines, reclining chairs, and cardiac tables af...
