Job Description
Organization and Management
- Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
- Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
- Obtain unit report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
- Daily routine in Operation theatre:
- Perform thorough cleaning each morning, including sanitizing operating tables, lamps, and others.
- Inspect supplies and gas cylinders to ensure their safety and guarantee a well‑stocked anesthesia machine.
- Transport patients from the ward to the induction room and assist until evaluated by an anesthetist.
- Transport patients to the operating room and assist in safe lifting onto the operating table.
