Job Description
The Care Partner provides nursing staff support in the areas of patient care delivery, clerical functions, and organization of the unit environment, as well as set-up and maintenance of equipment. The emphasis on each of these areas will depend on the unit assigned .
Minimum Education:
Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification (California Department of Public Health)ORActive enrollment in an accredited nursing program with equivalent training and the completion of the “Fundamentals of Nursing” course with a B or better
OR
Completion of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician program from a foreign country or United States
OR
Medical training in military services
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Six months to one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. [preferred] in an acute care setting (based on unit definition). OR ...
