About the role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to ensure our school premises and grounds remain safe, secure, and well maintained. This is a vital role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school in line with statutory and safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain site security, including locking/unlocking premises, alarm systems, and keyholder duties.Carry out daily safety checks and report hazards or concerns.Perform minor maintenance and repairs, and monitor heating and facilities systems.Support cleanliness and environmental standards, including waste management and outdoor upkeep.Undertake porterage duties such as moving equipment and supporting room setups.Complete required logs and follow school procedures.Promote and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
