Overview
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hardworking School Caretaker / Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated site team at a busy school in Ipswich. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working hours
- Early Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm
- Middle Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Late Shift: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
- Friday shifts finish 30 minutes earlier:
- Early Shift: 6:30am - 2:00pm
- Middle Shift: 8:00am - 3:30pm
- Late Shift: 12:00pm - 7:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Undertaking basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry, and general handyman duties.
