Job Description & Requirements Cargo Damage & Loss Investigations
- The candidate must be able to inspect and investigate claims arising from loss, pilferage, or damage to a wide range of dry, bulk, project, and refrigerated cargoes.
- This will include various cargoes such as commodities, grain, steel & products, oil and products, chemicals, machinery, raw materials, etc.
- Containerized cargoes including anything and everything from basic commodities, steel products, chemical to perishables, food products, household goods, art & species, and other special cargoes.
- Container surveys for stuffing, de-stuffing, trans-loading, and general condition.
- Pre-loading/discharge surveys of various cargoes such as yachts, boats, steel products, pipes, commodities, packaged goods, etc on board general cargo, Ro-Ro, Bulk vessels, and at warehouses. Load, stow and count surveys.
