Job Description
Finishing Touch Carpentry Ltd. is seeking an experienced Carpenter to work in Chilliwack and the Vancouver area.
Permanent; Full-time; 40 hours per week; $32.00 per hour. Applicant will be expected to travel to work sites across the greater Vancouver region.
Duties
- Demonstrate skill in the safe operation of shop tools such as table saw, radial arm saw, power planer, power shaper, router, wood lathe, airless paint sprayer, large belt sander, band saw, hand saw and electric drill.
- Prepare for work projects by performing operational and safety risk assessments, arranging work schedules with user departments and assembling supplies, tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
