Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on‑the‑job by getting hands‑on experience.
Start date: Thursday 1 October 2026.
Wage: £16,640 for your first year, could increase depending on your age.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (on site). 40 hours per week.
What you'll do at work
- Minor and major repairs to tenanted properties
- Hands on experience of other trades
- Reacting to emergency work (with a mentor)
- Use of IT to record job information
- Ordering of materials to complete tasks
- Adhering to CDM regulations and company H & S policies
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
