Job Summary:
The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is honest, detail-oriented, and friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using POS systemsReceive payments via cash, card, or mobile moneyIssue receipts, refunds, or change when requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and presentable checkout areaAssist with packing or bagging of itemsAnswer customer questions and provide excellent serviceBalance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shiftsReport any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor Qualifications and Skills:
HND certificate or equivalentPrevious experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage
