As a Casual Night Porter, key responsibilities include:
- Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests at all times ensuring company policy and procedures are complied with at all times
- Assuming Night Manager tasks, as required, when the Night Manager is dealing with priorities on shift
- Arranging collection, delivery and storage of guest luggage, ordering and delivering newspapers and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas during the night
- Providing general security in the Hotel and carrying security back up procedures, as requested and informing the Night Manager of issues to ensure that they are dealt with effectively
