Job Summary
Catering Assistant at Wylesfield. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Working hours: 21 hours per week. Shift: 11:00 - 18:30.
Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the Chef and the Catering Team to ensure that delicious home‑cooked meals are prepared for residents. Duties include:
- Assist the chef with food preparation.
- Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
- Load and unload the dishwasher and wash equipment unsuitable for the dishwasher.
- Clean kitchen and equipment; keep areas clear of refuse.
- Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors.
- Clear tea trolleys where applicable.
- Carry out reasonable requests as instructed by the Senior Chef/Chef.
- Ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
