Summary: Drives assigned company vehicles primarily to deliver lumber and building materials to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Assists in the loading and tie down of materials to be delivered.
- Checks loads to be delivered against the invoice to ensure product, sizes and quantities are correct prior to leaving the yard.
- Will unload the product at the customer's site location manually or with the assistance of a fork truck or helper.
- Unloads and verifies product to customer's invoice. Gets customer's signature as possible. Collects COD's as needed.
- Handles materials as to avoid damage and damage causing situations.
- Follows all State and Federal Safety Laws of safe driving.
- Completes all forms, reports and truck logs as required by law or Company regulations.
