Position summary
Genome Therapeutics Ltd (GTx) is seeking a lab-based cell and molecular biologist with experience in preclinical drug discovery to drive the development of our novel anti-cancer therapeutics.
The ideal candidate will contribute biological data across GTx’s ongoing projects by applying comprehensive expertise in mechanistic cancer biology to characterise the mode of action (MoA) and pharmacodynamic (PD) biomarker responses of our assets and identifying disease positioning opportunities.
Location: This is an on-site position based at the GTx labs in Cambridge, UK.
Key responsibilities
· Develop and run mechanistic cell biological studies to characterise the MoA of novel compounds and support PD biomarker identification and characterisation
· Develop and validate patient selection biomarker hypotheses to establish disease positioning opportunities
