Central Eligibility Cash Worker

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of *Central Eligibility Cash Worker*. Our ideal candidate will determine initial and/or ongoing eligibility for transitional assistance programs including payments for funerals and final dispositions, and provide referrals to other state agencies, rest home providers and other sources as necessary. _Duties and Responsibilities__(these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_ · Assist eligible clients/applicant's complete applications for DTA benefits including but not limited to EAEDC, funeral and final disposition. · Process initial applications from the public, including rest homes and funeral homes, and determine the eligibility status for transitional assistance programs. · Conduct ongoing transitional assistance eligibility reviews for existing clients and modify and maintain up-to-date information. · Process case maintenance activities including but not limited to: Bay St...
