Summary:
Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing in a call center setting. Obtain accurate demographic information to start the pre-registration process and maintain accurate patient medical records.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phones and provide excellent customer service to patients and providers.
Read doctor’s orders to accurately schedule patient appointments.
Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information over the phone.
Provides patients with accurate information on test preparation and procedures
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
