Job Description
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - Certified Nurse Aide - Full time
+ 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit providing care for the following patients
+ Post Interventional
+ Electrophysiology pre- post procedures i.e. ablations, pacemakers
+ Respiratory Failure
+ High acuity patients with a strong focus on cardiac care
+ Functions as a step-down intermediate care unit meeting the acute care patient needs.
+ EKG Class, ACLS and residency classes are provided.
+ Individualized, comprehensive program with a primary preceptor.
+ A floating charge nurse for support on every shift 7 days a week
+ Full time (72 hours biweekly)
+ Shift: 12- hour night
+ Every third weekend
+ Eligible for shift and weekend differential
Position Function: The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) functions as an integral part of the patient care team by performing selected patient/resident care treatments and tasks as delegated by licensed nurses and is accountable for his/her own...
