Inpatient/Outpatient:90% Inpatient, 10% outpatient
Position Overview:
This contingent, night-shift Certified Nurse Midwife position at Henry Ford Health offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, hospital-based midwifery practice providing full-scope care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman/gynecologic services. The CNM will manage low- and moderate-risk pregnancies while demonstrating strong clinical judgment in triage, labor management, fetal surveillance, postpartum assessment, and newborn transition, with the ability to recognize and appropriately escalate high-risk conditions. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife and proficiency in evidence-based practice and clinical guideline implementation, including management of hypertensive disorders, obstetric hemorrhage, sepsis, and breastfeeding support.
