**Job Title:** Certified Pharmacy Technician

**Shift:** 40hrs/wk Rotating Shift (Day, Evening and Night) - 8-hour shifts
**Location:** Holy Cross Health - Germantown, MD
**Position Purpose**
Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs to all patients and areas of hospital, maintaining drug inventory, and charging and maintaining patient records. Advanced experience and training in areas of controlled substances, IV admixtures, and handling and preparing cytotoxic drugs. Pharmacy technicians work only under supervision of registered pharmacists - they do not perform duties that legally can only be performed by registered pharmacists. Performance demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower costs and improve quality. Supports Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
