Bere Clinic, part of Elysium Healthcare, offers a chef role that allows creativity and team collaboration. The position is a 37.5‑hour week, preparing daily meals for service users, staff, and visitors, and supporting the Head Chef with kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for daily service users, staff, and visitors.
- Plan kitchen menus and ensure they meet dietary requirements.
- Maintain food storage, safety procedures and 'Safer Food, Better Business' standards.
- Manage cost control and kitchen budgets.
- Provide guidance and training to kitchen peers.
- Cater for events and special occasions, such as World Food Day, Christmas and Easter.
- Support kitchen operations and maintain a calm, pleasurable working environment.
