Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to instructions from chefs or other kitchen staff
- Ensure that food is cooked at correct temperatures and served on time
- Monitor food stock levels, ordering new supplies as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Assist in menu planning
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in training new kitchen staff members
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant culinary qualifications or relevant experience working as a Chef or Cook
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes from different cuisines
