Position Overview
Chemotherapy Registered Nurse (Chemo RN) – Outpatient Oncology Practice – Silver Spring, MD. Full‑time position paying between $90,000 and $110,000 per year based on experience. Relocation and sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 available.
Key Responsibilities- Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusion therapies under provider supervision.
- Assess patients prior to treatment, including review of labs, vitals, and overall clinical status.
- Monitor patients during and after infusions, identifying and managing adverse reactions.
- Perform venipuncture and access implanted ports and central venous catheters.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
