The respiratory physiology service has an opportunity to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic individual to the role of Chief Clinical Physiologist in the Willesden Community Diagnostic Centre. We are an IQIPS accredited service providing diagnostic testing on a variety of patient groups including NHSE commissioned breathlessness and paediatric asthma pathways.
The role is primarily based at the CDC but involves rotation to our clinical departments on the acute sites to develop or maintain existing skills in CPET, oxygen assessments and sleep study analysis/CPAP.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the CDC's respiratory service, including line management responsibility for junior staff. You will also be expected to play an active role in the education and training of student physiologists and other clinical staff.
