Chief Operating Officer c. £115k
We are in an exciting phase of implementing our founding charter, and this role will oversee the construction of the operating infrastructure by which our programmatic work is delivered. You’ll work at the critical point where policies and objectives become plans, resources and deliverables, and you’ll drive operational excellence and organisational integration between our UK and SA offices.
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be a vital member of the senior leadership team, responsible for day‑to‑day internal operations, financial management, HR, legal, IT, and facilities. We want to hear from people with experience of both start‑up and scale‑up, with a comprehensive knowledge of what needs to be in place, ideally across a number of jurisdictions; but it’s important that you’re not dogmatic, that you understand system thinking, and that you have a deft ability to adapt and innovate so we can avoid downstream issues.
