1.1 JOB PURPOSE:
• To provide technical and operational leadership for the efficient and effective performance of the Agency’s Research, Monitoring and Evaluation functions.
1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides inputs for the formulation of policies.
• Oversees the efficient and effective management of the human, material and financial resources of the Unit.
• Oversees the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the programmes and activities of the Unit.
• Oversees the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes and activities of the Agency.
• Oversees the preparation of the strategic plan of the Agency.
• Ensures compliance with international protocols and treaties.
• Oversees the development and implementation of guidelines, strategies and performance indicators for the conduct of research, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the Agency.
