Role Overview
The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) is responsible for establishing and overseeing the firm's risk management framework across broker dealer regulated activities conducted in or from ADGM. The role provides independent oversight of the firm's risk profile, ensuring that material risks are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with the firm's risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the firm's enterprise risk management framework in accordance with applicable FSRA Rules and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee risk governance processes covering operational, market, liquidity, technology, cyber security, outsourcing, conduct, and strategic risks.
- Monitor the firm's overall risk profile and ensure material risks are managed within approved risk appetite and tolerance levels.
