• This position is a grade 108 on the salary schedule. Placement= $17.27 to $19.74 per hour.
• This position is eligible for benefits.
• 6.5 hours per day

JOB SUMMARY
Students cannot learn if they are hungry, so it is important to make sure that all students are fed nutritious and delicious breakfasts and lunches. The Child Nutrition Worker II performs a variety of duties in the cafeteria to make sure students are well-fed and to keep the kitchen running effectively and efficiently. The Child Nutrition Worker II is also on track to becoming a Child Nutrition Cafeteria Manager, so she or he also assists in ordering food, completing production records, and supervising cafeteria teams when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In the Cafeteria Manager's absence, supervise cafeteria operations, including ordering food and supplies, operating point-of-sale, and completing manager reports.
