Chinese–Filipino Interpreter (Consecutive/Simultaneous)

Responsibilities

1. 1. Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation between Chinese nationals and Filipino nationals during meetings, conferences interviews and official events;
2. 2. Ensure accurate and context-sensitive translation preserving tone, intent and cultural nuance;
3. 3. Prepare for assignment by reviewing relevant materials, terminology and background information;
4. 4. Collaborate with the team to clarify technical or industry specific terms;
5. 5. Maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality in all interpretation sessions;
6. 6. Support written translation task when needed reports and correspondences, i.e. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and SOP and ERP systems;
7. 7. Process Visa/working permit application;
8. 8. Preparation/maintenance of needs and necessities of house /condo of the expats; and
9. 9. to perform other tasks as instructed.
