Job Description

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The CHPP Operator/Maintainer will report to the CHPP Crew Leading Hand as part of the CHPP team with duties including: 

  • Participation and adherence to the site SHMS - PRIDES/Hazard reporting and risk assessments 

  • Operating and monitoring the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Maintaining accurate daily production reports
    Daily CHPP inspections
    Identifying improvement opportunities

  • Maintaining the CHPP on breakdown and planned work - this includes mechanical duties as required

  • Train Load Out Operations ​​​​​​​Loading trains and monitoring Citect System
    Daily TLO inspections

  • Operating mobile equipment for ROM/Bypass and Train Loading Operations ​​​​​​​This includes Wheel Loader, Stockpile Dozer, Ancillary equipment
    Conduct equipment pre-starts
