Summary:
The Child in Need (CIN) Reviewing Officer provides independent oversight and quality assurance of Child in Need plans for children and families receiving services under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that Child in Need plans are child-centred, outcome-focused, and effective in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
