Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0810-12, Civil Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SILC-CEU MIAMI-PL DESIGN SECTION A in MIAMI, Florida. Responsibilities You will serve as a Civil Engineer and be responsible for the design and construction of new and/or extension, conversion, modernization, maintenance and repair of existing Coast Guard modern or historical shore facilities and marine site structures. You will provide technical civil engineering support for assigned geographical areas. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Analyzing designs, planning, and executing large and/or complex designs for a diverse range of engineering projects.
