Civil Foreman
Given the size of the projects we work on and with a strong pipeline of high-profile projects and a reputation for excellence in the civil construction, the advertised role is still a ‘hands on’ role – with most Foreman being skilled machine operators or drainlayers in their own right.
The responsibilities of the position include:
• Organisation & Safety briefing at start of day
• Liaising with the Project Manager in regards to priorities, programme, materials supply and stock levels, troubleshooting and resource requirements.
• Liaising with and providing appropriate notice to Sub Contractors for their attendance and scope of work – includes surveyor, concreters, cabling crews, surfacing contractor etc.
• Maintain safety levels on site including undertaking site audits.
• Keep daily job records detailing staffing levels, weather conditions, incidents, progress and delay.
