Overview
Civil Foreman / Building Supervisor sought to supervise employees at construction sites, coordinate procedures and ensure project completion. Must have a solid field background, strong management abilities, and the ability to guide the work of others with quick decision-making. Safety and quality are priorities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and project plans.
- Create schedules and monitor staff participation.
- Allocate general and daily site obligations.
- Oversee and train employees and tradespeople.
- Ensure sufficient manpower and resources at the site.
- Ensure safety precautions and quality criteria are satisfied on site.
- Monitor use of equipment and machinery.
- Track costs and keep the project within budget.
- Resolve problems as they arise.
- Report progress to managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
