Job Description
Parsons is looking for a Civil / Utility Inspector (Infra & Utilities) to join the team. The role involves performing continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests to determine if work complies with contract specifications, including civil and structural tests (soil compaction, moisture content, etc.).
- Perform destructive and non‑destructive tests on metals and other materials (magnaflex, dyepenetrant, radiographic, etc.).
- Surveil underground piping for tightness, bedding, and grade.
- Inspect and monitor piling installation to ensure proper location and bearing.
- Validate piping systems, including P&ID checks and hydraulic or other pressure tests.
