Job Summary / Responsibilities
- Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Gathers and correlates engineering data using established procedures and engineering principles.
- Works on engineering assignments involving transportation infrastructure, geotechnical investigations, pavements, and civil design support activities.
- Proposes solutions to project challenges through the adaptation and application of standard engineering methods and practices.
- Identifies discrepancies in technical results and supports corrective actions.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff and entry-level engineers where appropriate.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budgets and schedules with limited supervision.
