Job Description
Assign and oversee independent adjusters handling losses for Lloyd’s Syndicates
Essential Duties:
+ Enter First Reports/New Losses into the system
+ Review new losses for coverage prior to assigning to adjuster or Company
+ Send acknowledgements to brokers
+ Maintain accurate reserves for claim files
+ Analyze adjuster reports for coverage, accuracy and compliance with London requirements
+ Be able to make decisions regarding coverage of claims
+ Present applicable reports to London broker for authorization where necessary
+ Communicate required authorizations to adjusters and monitor communications between London and adjusters/attorneys
+ Answer London Company inquiries
+ Communicate with underwriting regarding policy issues/inconsistencies relating to losses
+ Issue payments to insureds / claimants
+ Prepare checks for mailing
