Job Description
Primary Role:
The Claims Specialist will be responsible for independently and proactively managing the Casualty and Workers Compensation claims program within our Commercial Lines Department
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manages and communicates claims issues with client, carrier or producer
+ Reviews claim status regularly and follows up as needed
+ Provides status reports to clients and keeps service teams informed as needed
+ Researches and obtains claims data from carriers as needed
+ Handles claims consistent with our clients and corporate policies, procedures and HUB Broker Standards and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements
+ Responsible for keeping Broker Management System up to date with correspondence and/or notes on open claims
