Steer Staffing are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing, temporary to permanent agency work. This role involves working in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring safe and compliant delivery operations.
Drivers must be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism at all times.
Job Duties
* Complete assigned deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner
* Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in line with all UK and EU driving regulations
* Adhere to tachograph rules and Working Time Directive at all times
* Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects appropriately
* Follow all site-specific Health & Safety procedures
* Accurately complete required paperwork and shift documentation
* Download digital tachograph card at the start and end of each shift
* Clock in and out appropriately where required
