Advance your driving career with SOUTHLAND as a Junior Driver Trainer, responsible for training new drivers and enhancing existing skills. Communicate effectively and lead classroom and on-the-road evaluations.
This position calls for experienced Class 1S or 2S drivers keen on fostering development in new employees and supporting ongoing training. You will lead classroom sessions, assess driving skills, and maintain training records using TrackIt. Tact and confidentiality are critical attributes for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classroom sessions for new driver trainees
• Assess driving skills daily and provide feedback
• Evaluate drivers on the road for skill improvement
• Utilize TrackIt to monitor training progress
• Address driver inquiries regarding Training & Development
Requirements:
• Class 1 or 2 driver’s license, “S” endorsed for 3+ years
• Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and emergency procedures
