Job Description
Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a local authority based at their Millbrook depot.
This is an ongoing contract working Mon to Fri 6am - 4pm. This may lead to permanent for the right candidate.
Hourly pay rate £18.26 increasing to £18.57 after 12 weeks.
YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT LICENSES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDING VALID CPC AND TACHO CARD!
The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse.
Driving assessment and health & safety induction will be given.
Duties:
- Driving a class 2 vehicle and sometimes be required to assist with the loading
- To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections
- Heavy lifting / fast paced
- Customer facing
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essen...
