The Role
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring council buildings and facilities are maintained to a high standard for staff, visitors and members of the public.
Key duties include:
- Cleaning offices, corridors, meeting rooms and communal areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing and vacuuming floors and carpets.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities.
- Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
- Handling and storing cleaning chemicals in accordance with health and safety procedures.
