Job Summary
Clinical Associate Psychologist – HMP Doncaster, a Category B resettlement prison located in the Marshgate area of Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Hours & Salary
Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, core business hours. Salary: £43,609 – £49,175 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify patients who may benefit from psychological intervention following mental health triage and in discussion with the multidisciplinary team; prioritise based on clinical need, risk presentation and release planning.
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessment, including risk assessment, and develop formulations to support patients and other MDT members in understanding challenges.
- Deliver individual and group interventions in line with the Psychological & Talking Therapies Service (PTTS) pathways and guidance from the registered psychologist.
