Position Purpose:

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a RN and or LPN, primarily, in the Med-Surg area though may be directed to the Perioperative or ER setting when additional help is needed. Performs general nursing duties and able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.

• Effectively communicates pertinent patient changes/conditions to co-workers and to multidisciplinary caregivers.

• Maintains required department confidentiality and abides by HIPPA regulations.
