Job Description
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Will facilitate 2-3 nursing staffing orientation groups per month, including 4 - 5 practicum days throughout the month depending on number of new hires and locations they will be serving. (i.e. NU, BC, ON, AB, MB, YK, NWT)
Assist in updating e-learning modules for all Northern contracts, marking orientation assignments, and participating in the enhancement of the orientation/ practicum program for Northern Nurses
Complete a maximum of four Northern Nursing assignments providing direct patient care in the communities (2 - 4 week assignments)
Support clinical initiatives specific to Remote and Northern nursing service delivery, including but not limited to: acute care, primary, continuing & long-term care, and home care.
Complete program development, provide education and guidance that will support field staff with their clinical care and creating positive client/patient outcom...
