Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Clinical FoodsSchedule:Part timeHours:10Job Details:The Clinical Nutrition Laboratory Technician is responsible for the preparation, distribution, inventory and management of enteral nutrition (human milk, formulas, and additives). Critical functions include:
• Use of the bar code scanning software to manage receipt, storage, preparation, labeling, and delivery of human milk.
• Keep work surfaces and equipment clean before, during, and after each feeding preparation of feeding.
• Calculate and write recipes for each feeding, utilizing resources in the nutrition lab or consulting the dietitian as needed.
• Prepare feedings, following all safe practices and according to precise calculations in each recipe
• Store prepared feedings in appropriate temperature-controlled environments before, during, and at delivery.
