**Description**
This position handles the clinical responsibilities of the clinic trial as delegated by the principal investigator. Works cohesively within a team supporting a collaborative approach to research. Independently coordinates patient care, research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies across multiple locations and may require travel in your own vehicle. Works with study investigators and the research manager to address study-related issues and perform delegated duties inside of clinical trials. Backs up other nurses and coordinators as needed. Supports department financial performance through prior authorizations, appropriate clinical documentation, and understanding the clinical trial coverage analysis.
Responsible for supporting the informed consent process, assessing patient toxicity and patient education regarding treatment plan medications, adverse events and disease process and protocol requirements....
