Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Automation: Build and manage scalable AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitoring & Observability: Track system health and application performance using tools like Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Security & Compliance: Govern IAM roles, enforce security groups, and manage vulnerability patching across AWS workloads.
- Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving measures by identifying idle resources and right-sizing environments via AWS Cost Explorer.
- Incident Management: Provide L2/L3 technical support, lead major incident troubleshooting, and conduct post-mortems.
- Business Continuity: Maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans, backup solutions, and automated failover strategies.
