Responsibilities
- Daily home life: driving children to and from school, appointments and visits (a full UK manual driving licence is essential).
- Teaching valuable life skills, such as meal preparation and household chores.
- Creating lasting memories through engaging activities, outings, and holidays.
- Providing support tailored to the young person’s needs, either one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one.
Position Details
- Full‑time role within a cluster of homes; average 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours.
- Shift pattern: one day on (24 hours, including sleepover) and two days off (48 hours), although the rota may vary across homes.
